A practical guide

Make the next step clear.

  1. Replace the fictional sample with a nickname, instrument and week-start date.
  2. Write one to five tasks: name the piece or exercise, the passage and the action. Add a sensible daily time based on the learner's needs.
  3. Preview the card. Print it or choose Save as PDF in the browser's print dialog.
  4. During the week, mark practice or needs help. Marks are self-reports, not proof of skill or mastery.
  5. Save in this browser. For a later week, select tasks to carry and choose a later start date. New progress starts blank; the old week stays unchanged.

Keep your work

Save is explicit. Unsaved edits can be lost when you close or refresh. A backup includes every stored week, nickname, resource and learner note. Plain text and printing include only the selected week. Browser data can be cleared, so download backups for anything important.

Practice view

Open one task to see its instructions and run its planned-time countdown. Hidden pages pause it; edits reset it. Timer completion changes no practice marks. Read the timer and explicit marking guide.

Resource links

Use complete http:// or https:// links to material you are allowed to share. PracticePost does not host or check linked resources. The recipient must have whatever access those resources require.

Limits

Up to 52 weeks, five tasks per week, 1,200 characters per instruction and 600 per learner note. A restored weekly backup may be up to 6 MB. There is no private teacher-notes field: learner notes appear in exports.
