A clear next task

Keep the instruction in view.

Choose one task from your weekly plan and open its practice view. The instruction stays beside a countdown based on your chosen planned minutes. Start when you begin, pause for breaks and reset when you need a fresh timer.

Timing and practice marks are separate

The countdown measures elapsed time while running. Reaching zero does not prove practice or mastery, and does not mark any day automatically. Choose the day you actually practiced and explicitly mark it. Existing Needs help marks ask before replacement.

Stay on the page

When the browser reports the page hidden, the timer pauses; returning does not restart it. Device sleep, browser suspension and delayed events can affect timing. This is a convenient practice aid, not a precision or background timer. It makes no sound and schedules no notification.

Changing plans starts fresh

Edits, a different week, restoring a backup or opening a different task reset the practice view. Refreshing or closing also discards the timer. Elapsed timer time is not stored in weekly or template backups. Explicit practice marks are saved only when you save the weekly plan.

Keep the learner in control

Use the time and task instructions appropriate to the learner. You can stop early or mark actual practice without running the timer to zero. The timer does not assess playing, listen to a microphone or upload a session.
